MAC-ed Out (Random)

Modern Cosmetics

Okay, so I Loooove Make-up Artist Cosmetics!!  But is it just me or are there prices subtly going up and they are coming out with collection, after collection, after collection.  I mean I am to the point where I am just tired of it.  In the recent past, I was one who would at least try to find at least one little thing from every limited edition collection to add to my own personal collection.  Are you serious???!!!  I am not sure how many collections they have come out with as of late...
-Peacocky
-Finally Flawless
-Venomous Villains
-Mickey Contractor
-Nicki Manaj Pink Friday Lipstick
-Champale
-Stylishly Yours
and not the mention the Wonder Woman Collection that it launching soon.

Is it just me or are these collections becoming tedious and exhausting.  I have to admit, with my B-day coming up soon I did splurge and bought quite a few eyeshadows from the Peacocky collection as my present to myself.  But that is it!!  I just cannot take it and seems that with every collection they are having unnecessary gimmicks.  For instance, the Mickey Contractor collection could only be purchased from select MAC stores or the Nicki Manaj lipstick could only be purchased on Friday for only 4 Fridays.  Believe it or not both collections sold out like hot cakes, along with any other limited edition collections. I love to be beautiful just as much as the next woman, but I just feel like MAC is getting a little ridiculous.  So as for me I am done with these fad collections for now because a lot of them are either repromotes or dupes for colors that they already have in the regular or pro line.  I mean there is not that many colors in the world.  Come on MAC???,,,!!!  I still love you though...just need a break!

Surprising protein conditioner

So I used this...

as my protein conditioner this week. I relaxed my hair two weeks ago and unfortunately due to lack of time I to

skipped my normal moisturizing deep condition. So today, I decided that my hair needed a pretty deep treatment

so I decided to use good old Mayo.  I mixed about a 1/2 to 3/4 cups of Mayo with Olive, Castor and Amla oils.

As far as a special treat, I threw in a spoonful of garlic paste to nurture the scalp and combat any possible

shedding from my neglecting my hair over the last couple weeks.

Results:

The results of conditioning my hair with good old Mayonnaise was great!  My hair felt soft and conditioned after I

rinsed out the mixture.  I followed that with two washes with Creme of nature shampoo (green bottle).  My hair felt

so soft I wanted to skip my moisture treatment but that would be pushing it.  In my opinion, Mayonnaise

conditions far better than some of the hair mayonnaise treatments and cholesterol's that they have on the market

today with are packed with fillers, parabens and chemical preservatives.  I would rate this treatment a 5 out of 5.
