The Science of Black Hair
So, I have been considering purchasing this book:
It came out earlier this year in around April and apparently it is all the rave. I have watched some reviews on youtube and read through some reviews on Amazon. Thus far, all of the reviews have been saying how great this book is. I have heard that it is really comprehensive and much like a text book specifically about Afro-textured hair. Which puts me in a place of wanting to see what this book is all about. I have read books before about "Afro-textured" hair, and let's just say that I was under-impressed. I think the only thing that I took away from those books is that it is best to use lye relaxers. As for this book it is supposed to go into depth about all issues of natural and relaxed hair from the basis of the hair structure to heat styling and maintaining healthy hair.
So this book sounds pretty interesting and I am thinking seriously about investing the $20-30 on this book to have a wealth of information at my fingertips about properly maintaining my hair as well as my children's hair.

Face Lift!!
Hello you fabulous people,
As you can see, It was time for a blog facelift! I was so sick and tired of looking at that other template that I did not even feel inspired to write anything. So hopefully, this fresh & new face will be followed with fresh & new blogs and updates. I am not promising anything...especially with 3 kids and a hubbie lol! But I will surely try my best to bring you guys back up to date with my blog. TTYL.
