The Science of Black Hair (Follow up review)

Hey guys,

As promised here is my take on The Science of Black Hair Care book. I have only skimmed through the book, but the book seems very well written much like a text book. The book has a lot of good information in there regarding how to take care of afro-textured hair; relaxed as well as natural. This book has become my reference point for when I am not sure about certain products or hair tools (i.e. proper flat iron tempertures). It gives you a general reference point of how to get hair healthy and keep it that way.

So I must say overall I am impressed with this book. I would recommend this book to any one who does not know how to take care of their hair. I would also recommend this book to someone who needs help developing a hair regimen (relaxed or natural). And finally, I would recommend this book to someone who wants to know more about the actual science of hair. Being the type of person I am (short attention span)...I would probably not pick this book up and read it page for page because as for me there are more things that I find interesting to read about than my hair ( I know a great deal about hair already). However, I will use this book regularly as a reference point to keep my hair healthy. In closing, I would definitely recommend this book.
